Karela dahi puri ( bitter gourd curd puri )

Ingredients:
  • 4 Bitter gourd ( karela )
  • Coriander powder ( dhania powder )
  • Red chili powder
  • Asafetida ( hing )
  • Bengal gram flour ( besan )
  • Corn flour ( makai ka aata )
  • Black salt
  • Bhujia sev
  • Dry dates and tamarind Chutney ( khajur imli ki Chutney )
  • Oil
Procedure:
  • Make medium slices of bitter gourd.  Heat two glass of water in a souse pan.
  • Boil the slices for two minutes and strain the water properly.
  • Now mix two teaspoon of gram flour, corn flour, red chili powder, black salt, coriander powder and asafetida.
  • Coat each bitter gourd slices with this mixture.  Sprinkle some water and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan and fry the bitter gourd slices until crisp.
  • Now arrange the slices in a plate. Spread curd and tamarind Chutney on each slice.  Spread bhujia sev and chopped coriander.
  • Karela dahi puri is ready to eat.
