Lauki Sweet Potato Berger

Ingredients:
  • 250 gm Bottle gourd grated (lauki)
  • 1 large boiled sweet potato (ratalu)
  • Salt
  • Chat masala 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Onion sliced
  • Tomato sliced
  • Chickpea flour 4 teaspoon
  • 8 Curry leaves chopped
  • 10 double roti's
Procedure:
  • Squeeze the grated bottle gourd.  
  • Mash the sweet potato and mix with bottle gourd. 
  • Add chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, chat masala, salt, chickpea flour to the mixture.  
  • Make 10 equal flat balls.  In a pan heat 3 teaspoon of oil and roast the balls from both sides until crisp.
  • Now cut double rotis into two halves. On first halve, arrange tomato slices, onion slices then place bottle gourd balls. 
  • Again make layer of tomato and onion.  Place the second bun on the top.  
  • Now grill the Berger on pan from both sides until crisp.  
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
