Indian style hummus toast

Ingredients:
  • Chickpeas boiled 125gm
  • Black salt
  • Garlic
  • Oil 8 teaspoon
  • 1 teaspoon ghee
  • roasted cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • sesame seeds 2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice
  • Gram flour
  • salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 pav (soft bread roll)
  • masala ground nuts (masala singdana)
  • coriander leaves
Procedure:
  • Mix gram flour with water, salt and make smooth batter.  Heat oil in a frying pan and randomly spread the batter into oil and make crispy fritters.
  • Grind chickpeas, garlic, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, red chili powder, oil, ghee, black salt, fritters.  Make smooth paste, add extra oil if needed.  
  • Add lemon juice and mix well.  Your indian style hummus is ready.
  • Cut pav into two halves, roast one side of pav until crisp and spread the hummus on it. 
  • Now roast other side of it.  Garnish with coriander leaves, masala ground nuts, red chili powder and green chilies.
