Aloo Tasty Fry (potato tasty fry)

Potato is a very common vegetable which is available almost in every part of the world.  There are more than 4,000 varieties of native potatoes.  They come in many sizes and shapes. There are also over 180 wild potato species.  China, India, America are leading countries which produces potatoes.  There are so many recipes which can be made from potatoes.  It can be used to make fries, gravies, pies, rice, chicken, pasta, desserts, sandwiches almost all kinds of food.  Mashed potato is very popular recipe in europe, vada pav and aloo tikki in india, nyoki in italy.

Ingredients: 
  • Half boiled potatoes (8)
  • Curd 120gm (dahi)
  • Red chili powder 
  • Kashmiri red chili powder
  • Plain flour 3 teaspoon (Maida)
  • Corn flour 4 teaspoon ( makai ka safed aata)
  • Black salt
  • Coriander powder(dhania powder)
  • Lemon juice
  • Coriander leaves chopped (barik kata hara dhania)
  • Oil for frying
 Procedure: 
  • Cut boiled potatoes into medium cubes and keep them in a salted water.
  • In a bowl mix plain flour, corn flour, curd, lemon juice, chili powder, salt, chopped coriander leaves.  Add water and make semi consistent batter. 
  • Now heat the oil in a frying pan.   Once the oil is hot deep potato cubes into batter one by one and then place into pan.  Fry until potatoes become crispy.  Serve it hot with any chutney or ketchup.
