Ingredients:
- rice
- okra
- cashew nuts
- almonds
- coriander powder
- black pepper powder
- salt
- 3 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 6 cloves
- turmeric powder
- ghee
- Garam masala powder
- Milk
- asafoetida
- Heat 2 teaspoon of oil in a pan. Add okra mix well.
- Add coriander powder, black pepper powder, salt, asafoetida.
- Cook until soft, remove it from flame.
- In a thick bottom pot boil the water.
- Add milk, ghee, turmeric powder, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, salt.
- Cover it for 2 minutes on a low flame.
- Now add the rice and cook it again on high flame.
- Add garam masala, cashew nuts, almonds.
- Once water reduces mix okra. Switch off the flame. Cover the pot.
- Remove the cover at the time of serving.
