- Basmati rice 2 cup
- 2 large tomato pure
- Curd 150gmail
- Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
- All spice powder 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Milk cup
- 2 Cardamom
- 3 Star anise
- 6 Cloves
- Asafoetida
- 6 Cashew nuts roughly chopped
- 6 almonds roughly chopped
- 3 bay leaves
- Salt

- In a pot heat 10 cups of water. Add oil, cardamom, star anise, cloves, bay leaves.
- Once water boils pour washed basmati rice. Half cook the rice and strain it.
- In the same pot heat 4 teaspoon of ghee.
- Add tomato and cook for a minute.
- Add red chili powder, garam masala, all spice powder, coriander powder.
- Cook for 5 minutes. Add curd, turmeric powder, cashew, almonds, salt, asafoetida.
- Cook until oil comes out on the top.
- Arrange rice on the gravy. Cover the pot with air tight lid.
- Now cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.
- Open the lid at the time of serving.
- Garnish with coriander leaves, almonds, cashew nuts and pomegranate.
