Lauki Ka Keema

  • Ingredients:
  • 2 cup grated bottle gourd
  • 5 green chilies
  • Ginger
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion chopped
  • Asafoetida
  • 1 large tomato
  • Garam masala powder 2 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cheese
  • Oil
  • Salt
Procedure:
  • Heat 3 teaspoon of oil in a pan.  Add onion and cook for 2 minutes.  
  • Grind garlic, chili, ginger and make smooth paste.  Add this to pan and cook for 4 minutes. Once onion turns to little Brown.
  • Add garam masala, asafoetida and mix well.
  • Add tomato and cook until oil leaves the edges of pan.  
  • Add bottle gourd, salt, cheese and cover the pan.  Cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Garnish with cheese and green peas.  Serve hot with rice bhakri.
