Karelamitha Malwani

Ingredients:
  • Bitter gourds 4 (karela)
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Malwani masala 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Jaggery 1 inch
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  • Cut bitter gourds into two halves and boil for 5 minutes.  Keep them to cool.  
  • Now cut them and make small rings.  Heat some oil in a pan.  Add tomoto, red chili powder, malwani masala, jaggery, salt and cook for 5 minutes.   
  • Add bitter gourds rings mix well cook for 5 minutes.   Now bit the karela in the pan with the help of steel spatula.  
  • Try to make small pieces of it.  Cook for another 5 minutes.   Switch of the flame, garnish with coriander leaves.  Serve hot.
