Chawli Soup

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serve: 2

Ingredients
  • Black eye bean 1/2 cup soked (chawali)
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • 8 Garlic cloves chopped
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • Black pepper powder
  • Chat masala
  • Black salt
  • Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil
  • Salt
Procedures:
  • Pressure cook chawali until soft.  In a pan add some oil, add onion cook for 2 minutes. 
  • Add tomato, garam masala powder, salt. 
  • Mix well, until oil leaves the edges of the pan. 
  • Now grind this mixture to a smooth paste.
  • Now in a same pan again add some oil.  
  • Add chopped garlic, mix well.  Add prepared  mixture and water take nice boil.   Add black pepper powder and mix well.  
  • Add chopped coriander leaves, pinch of black salt and chat masala.  Boil mixture for 3 minutes.  Add lemon juice and switch of the flame, serve hot
