- Plain flour 2 1/2 cup
- Curd 1/2 cup
- Backing soda 1/4 teaspoon
- Backing powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Dry yeast few grains
- Milk
- Salt
- Oil
- Soya chunks soaked
- Grated Paneer 1 cup
- Green chilies 2 chopped
- Ginger garlic paste 2 spoons
- Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
- Red chili powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Mace powder 1/4 teaspoon
- Hummus
- Onion chopped
- Green chutney
- Curd
Procedure:
- Mix plain flour, curd, backing soda, backing powder, oil and salt. Soak dry yeast in milk. After 30 minutes mix with plain flour.
- Kneed the flour and make soft dough. Keep this dough covered with wet towel to rest for 4 hours.
- Heat some oil in a pan. Add Cumin seeds. Green chilies. Cook for a minute. Add ginger garlic paste. Mix well.
- Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, mace powder. Cook for a while. Add soya chunks and mix well.
- Add some water cover the pan cook for 5 minutes. Add Paneer, garam masala, cumin seeds powder and salt.
- Add chopped coriander leaves. Cook for five minutes. Make 4 equal portions of kneed dough. Roll them to make flat brades.
- Roast these brades from both sides.
- Arrange prepared mixture on bread, curd, green Chutney, onion, hummus. Wrap the shavrma and have a bite.
