Cabbage Muttur Balls Makhani (no onion garlic)

Serve: 4

Ingredients:
  • Cabbage chopped 3 cups
  • Green peas boiled 2 cups
  • Garam masala powder 2 teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder 2 teaspoon
  • 3 tomato
  • Coconut grated 1 cup
  • Curd 4 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Butter 3 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Asafoetida
  • Plain flour 3 cup
  • Bengal gram flour 1 cup

Procedure:

  • Grind tomato and coconut.  Heat butter in a pan.   Add tomato, red chili powder 1 teaspoon, kashmiri red chili powder 1 teaspoon salt, garam masala powder.   
  • Cook for five minutes add coconut and curd and salt.  
  • Cook until oil leaves the edges of pan.
  • Mix cabbage, green peas, garam masala, red chili powder, kashmiri red chili powder, salt, garam masala, plain flour, Bengal gram flour.  
  • Make thick dough.  Heat oil in a deep sauce pan.  Now pour small balls of dough into oil.  Fry until crisp.   
  • Now spread prepared tomato mixture on fried balls serve hot.
