Palak Wadi Tomato Chutney Chapatti Wrap

Ingredients:
  • One large tomato
  • One large onion
  • 4 green chilies chopped
  • One bunch of dill leaves chopped
  • Bengal gram flour 5 tablespoon
  • 1 tablespoon rice flour
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt
  • Turmeric powder
  • Black salt
  • Asafoetida
  • Mustard seeds
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 4 chapattis 
Procedure:
  • For tomato chutney heat 2 teaspoon of oil in a pan.   Add mustard seeds.   Stir for a while.
  • Add green chilies and cook for a minute.  Add onion and cook until soft.
  • Add tomato, asafoetida and cook until oil leaves from the pan.  Keep this mixture aside.
  • Now, to make wadis mix dill leaves, Bengal gram flour, rice flour, red chili powder, black pepper powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black salt and some water. 
  • Kneed well and make four cylinder shapes.  Cook them in pressure cooker.
  • Keep it to cool.  
  • Now cut the wadis into medium thin round pieces and deep fry them
  • Now arrange wadis, tomato chutney on chapatti.  Now roast the tacos until crisp from both sides.  Do this with all four chapattis.  Have a Indian style wrap with tamarind Chutney.
