Rajma Pulav

Preparation time: 10 minute

Serve: 4

Ingredients:

  • Kidney beans pod
  • Rice 1.5 cup
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • All spice powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic cloves 10
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 tomato puree
  • Cumin seeds
  • Oil
  • Salt

Procedure:

  • Peel the kidney beans.   Heat some oil in a thick bottom pot. 
  • Add cumin seeds.
  • Now add tomato puree, garlic mix well.  Add onion, red chili powder, all spice powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder.  Cook until soft. 
  • Add some water cover the pot and cook for 5 minutes. 
  • Add salt and water. 
  • Boil it fo 8 minutes.  Add rice and cook for 7 to 8 minute. 
  • Mix well cover the pot switch off the flame and do not open the lid let the Pulav rest for at least 30 minutes.  Serve hot and enjoy.
