Baingan Besan Karara

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serve: 4

Ingredients:
  • 6 brinjal ( baingan )
  • 10 garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 inch ginger chopped
  • Half onion chopped
  • Cumin seeds
  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • All spice powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Kashmiri chili powder  1/2 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Teaspoon of chick pea flour
  • Oil
  • Salt
Procedure:
  • Cut brinjals into 2 parts and give one slits.
  • Heat oil in a iron kadai.  Now add brinjals.
  • Add all spice powder, red chili powder.
  • Add salt and mix well. 
  •  Cover the kadai and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Now in the same kadai, add some oil and cumin seeds. 
  •  Now add onion, garlic and ginger, mix well.
  • Add kashmiri chili powder, coriander powder mix well.  Now add brinjals cook until soft.  Serve hot with chapati or bhakri.
