Ingredients:
- Bitter gourds 1/2 kg
- 1 Onion sliced
- 1 tomato chopped
- Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
- Kanda lasun masala 1 teaspoon
- Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
- Jaggery 1 inch
- Salt
- Oil
- Cut bitter gourds into medium size rings. Boil them in a pressure cooker with some salt and without whistle.
- Now in a same pressure cooker add some oil and saute the onion.
- Add tomato, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder, Kanda lasun masala, salt and lemon juice. Add jaggery, mix well cook for 1 minutes.
- Now add bitter gourds. Close the lid without the whistle. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes on medium to low flame. Switch of the flame. Serve hot.
