Cooker Karela Tandoori

Ingredients:

  • Bitter gourds 1/2 kg
  • 1 Onion sliced
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin seeds powder 1 teaspoon
  • Kanda lasun masala 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice 2 teaspoon
  • Jaggery 1 inch
  • Salt
  • Oil
Procedure:
  • Cut bitter gourds into medium size rings.  Boil them in a pressure cooker with some salt and without whistle. 
  • Now in a same pressure cooker add some oil and saute the onion.  
  • Add tomato, coriander powder, cumin seeds powder, Kanda lasun masala, salt and lemon juice.  Add jaggery, mix well cook for 1 minutes.
  • Now add bitter gourds. Close the lid without the whistle.  Cook for 15 to 20 minutes on medium to low flame.  Switch of the flame. Serve hot.
